Diabetic papillopathy (DP) is a rare complication of DM that reduces the patients visual function. Until now lack number studies, diagnosis, and treatment still uncertain. Considering there limitations research on DP must continue to be explored as this literature made. This study review was carried out in 2022 disclose more information diabetic papillopathy. We searched for topic using systematic search Google Scholar, PubMed, Scopus, Elsevier, SAGE databases. Some keywords we used were diabetes mellitus, papillopathy, optic disc edema. To end, aims present, examine, diagnose, treat has intravitreous clinical signs such swelling or atrophy which have many differential diagnoses. eliminate diagnosis it important doctor understand history manifestation complications metabolic disorders (hyperglycemia). Investigations include ophthalmological testing, MRI, neuroimaging, evaluation infection will aid determining discover nerve injury. It should noted that, better understanding can determine an appropriate, effective, plan B therapy modality.
